KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Initiate and prepare a preliminary design concept based on the requirements provided.

• Produce detailed design documents, including drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

• Review sub-contractor's shop drawings and construction drawings against the MEP design and specification.

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Attend and participate in project meetings, including site visits, design reviews, and progress meetings.

• Lead and mentor the MEP team, providing technical guidance and support.

• Achieve a detailed understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing, and project schedules. • Facilitate problem-solving between MEP subcontractors during construction, ensuring timely resolution of issues. • Validate design issues, suggest alternative solutions, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

• Review and approve MEP submittals, ensuring they meet project requirements.

• Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.

• Assist in the scoping review, budgeting, and justification of MEP change work order.

• Provide technical support during the installation of MEP systems.

• Direct, monitor, and control the activities of MEP subcontractors.

• Liaise with consultants, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.

• Ensure that subcontractors adhere to quality standards and safety regulations.

• Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.

REQUIREMENT: 

• Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in MEP Engineering (HVAC, Electrical, Sanitary & Plumbing) or a related field.

• Solid understanding of construction plans, specifications, and schematics.

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in the construction industry.

• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.

• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.

• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, working under pressure, and meeting strict deadlines.

• Flexible and adaptable, able to work long hours when required.

• Ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment.
