JOB PURPOSE: 

To act as a lead person, advice and support each subordinate in delivering the quality for Quantity Surveyor works. and implement the company standard operating procedures for Quantity Surveyor in order to achieve the goals for all the projects and/or introduce a procedure that can improve the growth of the Quantity Surveyors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Check and monitor the progress work done to ensure the budget’s approval;

Check and control the daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to monitor the expenditures in accordance with the construction schedule;

Check and prepare the Budget’s Proposal in accordance with the project construction schedule including the cash flow (S-Curve);

Advising on the procurement strategy according to the drawings and specifications;

Check and report on the project’s risks to the management;

Check and review all the subcontractors and suppliers’ payments;

Check and review the progress claim to the Clients;

Check and prepare the contract agreement with Subcontractors and Clients;

Participation in the preparation of the detailed tendering process of the projects;

Check and Review the Quantity Take-off and prepare the Details of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in order to input to the system (CUSCEN);

Understanding the requirements of Safety/Environmental Regulations;

Carry out other duties and responsibilities, as required, and as requested by the management.

REQUIREMENT: 

At least Five (5) years or more of experience in QS and Contract works of road construction projects;

Knowledge of construction methods and technologies with an ability to interpret technical drawings and contract documents;

Knowledge of standard road requirements;

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for quality assurance;

Knowledge of construction worksite with safety/Environmental practices;

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in civil engineering or related field;

Ability to communicate with other people and team works;

Professional certification, is required
